Husband ordered the Cioppino which was unusual in that the reddish sauce had a fruity, somewhat sweetened taste to it, not the usual garlic seafood broth that we love, and not outstanding. Breads were nice with an assortment of flavored butters and a good selection of wines with full bar available. My choice was a pear salad with a creamy burrata which was wonderful and the other appetizers and salads sounded great. Dinner started with the Amuse bouche, which was delicious and then they served a sorbet as a palate cleanser between salad and entree. It's a busy but fairly quiet restaurant, nicely decorated, pleasant atmosphere, with comfortable seating and great servers. This restaurant is in the Viejas Casino in Alpine and six of us locals gathered for a Saturday night dinner.
